Action research is a common journey for graduate students in education and other human science fields. This book attempts to meet the needs of graduate students, in-service teachers, and any other educators interested in action research and/or self-study. The chapters of this book draw on our collective experiences as educators in a variety of educational contexts, and our roles guiding educator/researchers in various settings. All of our experiences have enabled us to question and refine our own understanding of action research as a process and means for pedagogical improvement. The primary purpose of this book is to offer clear steps and practical guidance to those who intend to carry out action research for the first time. As educators begin their action research journey, we feel it is vital to pose four questions: 1) What is action research, and how is it distinct from other educational research?; 2) When is it appropriate for an educator to conduct an action research project in their context?; 3) How does an educator conduct an action research project?; 4) What does an educator do with the data once the action research project has been conducted? We have attempted to address all four questions in the chapters of this book.

To close its infrastructure gap, Latin America and the Caribbean needs more than investment in new structures. It needs to become more efficient at investing in infrastructure and regulating a new range of services that have the potential to disrupt the energy, transport, and water sectors. The technological revolution makes a future with quality services possible, but not inevitable. This book offers policy options for countries to improve the access, quality, and affordability of services today, to ensure that they will be sustainable in the future, and to harness emerging technological advances for the benefit of all. This report aims to provoke discussion and further research on those many important issues and mark a path that helps the region move from structures to services and improve infrastructure for all.

Learning how to create an ebook can be overwhelming. Not only do you have to write the content, but you also need to design and format it into a professional-looking document that people will want to download and read.
This file type stands for "Electronic Publication," and is a more flexible ebook format. By that, I mean EPUB ebooks can "reflow" their text to adapt to various mobile devices and tablets, allowing the ebook's text to move on and off different pages based on the device's size on which a user is reading the ebook. They're particularly helpful for viewing on smaller screens, such as smartphones and the Nook from Barnes and Noble.
Remember: The goal of your ebook is to generate leads for your sales team, so pick a topic that will make it easy for a prospect to go from downloading your ebook to having a conversation with your sales team.
Your ebook should be available for download through a landing page on your site. A landing page is a web page that promotes/describes your offer and provides a form that visitors need to fill out with their contact information to access your ebook. This is how you can convert your visitors into business leads that your sales team can ultimately follow up with.
For instance, you should have landing page analytics that gives you insight into how many people downloaded your ebook and converted into leads and closed-loop analytics that show how many of those people ultimately converted into opportunities and customers for your business.
Each article can begin a new chapter. Then, once this ebook is created, you can promote it on a landing page, link to this landing page from each blog post, and generate leads from readers who want to download the entire blog series in one convenient ebook.
Start reading, listening or watching instantly with e-books, audiobooks, e-magazines, and streaming movies. Most titles are available online with just an internet connection and a library card. An e-reader app is required for downloading to your personal device.
Library Genesis which is also called LibGen or Genesis Library, is a search engine for scientific papers and books on various topics. It allows you to access to paid content or books that are not digitized anywhere. In particular, PDF files distributed on Elsevier's ScienceDirect web portal are included. As of June 2018, the Genesis Library database claims to contain over 2.7 million books and over 58 million journal articles. No matter you're a student writing papers, a researcher searching for science reports, or a book worm finding nourishment for your mind, Library Genesis will satisfy you.
You can find almost any book and paper on Library Genesis. And when you find your targets, you can easily download them as PDF, WORD, EPUB, MOBI, DJVU, etc. In this post, we'll explain how it works, how you can get access to this amazing free library, how to use Library Genesis and how to download PDF books from Library Genesis for free.
The reason why Library Genesis is so powerful is it collects download links from it's 5 mirror websites. When a download mirror is broken or down, the site will fill up with another. In this way, Library Genesis almost guarantee accessible download links of every e-book you search for.
When you search for a book on LibGen, the search engine searches a few mirrors sites that actually hosts the book. When the search engine matches your search instruction with the book on those sites, you can get download links from the download mirrors. We'll show you how to download a PDF, EPUB, MOBI e-book from these mirrors in Part 2.
LibGen provides more than one extension of their books, including PDF, EPUB, MOBI, WORD, etc. Generally speaking, EPUB and MOBI would be the most compatible format with e-readers like Kindle, iBooks, and Calibre Moon+ Reader. However, PDF is not only a compatible format for most readers and software but also more universal on document sharing and exchanging on the internet. So we highly recommend you to download the book as PDF format. If somehow you need to split the PDF e-book, you can use an online PDF Separator to achieve that.
And you also need to choose wisely about the file size. If you're about to read the PDF on a mobile device with limited storage space such as iPhone and Android phone, please avoid the big size files. For computer users, bigger size would be better since they normally comes with higher quality and resolution. The only disadvantage of PDF books is sometimes they can be much large when they are scans of paper books rather then e-books. But we can always make it up by compressing PDF to get a smaller size PDF book.

Step 3. On the format column, you can see Project Gutenberg offers you EPUB (with images), EPUB (no images), Kindle (with images), Kindle (no images), and Plain Text UTF-8 to download and HTML to read online.
