Elden Ring is the latest RPG developed by FromSoftware for PlayStation 5, PS4, and various other platforms. Following on from popular titles like Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, it builds on the formula with a fully open world setting. These sorts of games are known for their hard difficulty, and Elden Ring is no different. In our Elden Ring PS5 review, we awarded the game a 9/10, calling it an "utterly essential PS5 title".
This page will also offer useful tips and trick for beginners like how to replenish flasks and how multiplayer works. Finally, we will explain the best starting class for all playstyles and what the very best starting Keepsake is. Please be aware this guide contains Elden Ring spoilers, so browse carefully if you wish to keep the game's surprises a mystery.
i sucked at bloodborne. but liked the grafx and level design. i sucked at demons souls on ps5, but liked the grafx. this time around, the same formula of gameplay is here but in a larger area, not always tight hallways like the previous 2 games i mentioned. i picked the BANDIT class first, thinking he'd get extra stealth ability, but that... isnt the case. i then made a new game and picked the vagabond, that is, the knight. been doin better. a lot better. i learned not to just go gung-ho into a battle against 2-3 enemies just because i have a long sword! the slow wind up and pitch of that strike... gets ya in trouble as enemies with smaller, lighter weapons will wail on you faster.
@rjejr I would still say keep trying to go south - if you can get by the big guy with the bow/arrow (he goes down easily enough if you just run around his legs on your horsey). Or I guess just run past him into the fort. The fort itself has quite a few enemies and it'll probably be pretty tough. There is a boss beyond the fort itself at the end of the peninsula. Hopefully none of this is spoilers but I think it's a good challenge and if you can do it you'll get the skills you need to take you further into the game.
@lolwhatno No blog. Thought about making 1 in the forum but I don't have time for the git gud crowd, I'm petty that way. I do post about 3 or 4 pics per day on Twitter which keeps things fresh in my head. When I stop playing I may send a very long email to FromSoftware, somebody there probably reads English, about a few nit-picky things they could do to improve the game. Well maybe not improve meaning it's bad, just quality of life stuff. Like - change the color of the Evergaol spots so I know which ones I beat. There is zero reason to go back far as I can tell. Maybe something for the cave, mine and tunnel bosses as well. And a bank. Though I suppose the big fat ants w/ the numen runes are a bank, if they come back, haven't been back there to look since I killed the 5 of them. Bestiary, stats like times died, mission log that tells you when it's done. I talked to that guy today who can't knight me, I didn't kill him for his apple though I am have 4 and could have used it, read he may have come back in a patch update, we'll see. I've been playing the gaem for 2 months, can't keep track of it all. Like I JUST went back to see that samurai NPC outside of dragon ruins in Limgrave. I killed that dragon a long time ago. Not sure where to meet him next, I've killed 3 or 4 other dragons since.

In the WoW referral program, the player and their friends receive not only free game time but also exclusive in-game items. The conditions are also provided for new users who have not played World of Warcraft for a long time (more than 2 years). This increases the number of active players who show loyalty to earlier users.
Heading into the mid-game of Elden Ring, my preferred rune-farming spot is the four-stage encampment east of the Erdtree-Gazing Hill site of grace in the Altus Plateau. Eliminate the soldiers, the ballista-operators, the Pumpkin Head, and the rider on horseback, and that's an easy 8,000 runes right there - plus the likelihood of some decent weapon and armour drops from the soldiers.
My preferred method for dealing with this large encampment is to kill the three soldiers out in front, then skirt around the left, up the rocks behind the second encampment, and stab them all in the back. Then kill the Pumpkin Head in the third section, and finally the knight, rider, and other soldiers in the fourth section of the camp. 2b1af7f3a8
