After downloading all the drivers, you need to install them. The Acer Projector Driver installation wizard has the same name as the Acer monitor driver. You may need to close the program you were using first before you run the installation wizard. Once it is installed, you may have to restart your computer again.
On the Acer Control Panel, you will need to open the Acer Projector Viewer and choose the option to update the driver. The Acer Projector Viewer will detect your Acer monitor and let you know if a driver is available. If you find that there is a driver, you will be able to perform the update.
To test whether the driver has successfully installed, you should launch the Acer Projector driver. It should open the Acer Projector control panel. If you do not see this section, that means that the driver installation did not work. You will need to fix this problem by performing the steps below.
After you have installed the correct Acer projector drivers, you should restart your Acer projector. Restarting the projector will make sure that the latest driver is loaded properly and you will not have to update it again.
Step 2: After accessing safe mode, you should launch DriverDoc and click on the Install button. Then, click on the Browse button to select the driver files you downloaded earlier. Next, click on the Install button. Wait for DriverDoc to finish installing the driver and then reboot your system.
As soon as your system reboots, you should check if the input not supported issue on the Acer projector is fixed. If not, let us know in the comments section below. We will get back to you with the solution as soon as possible.
Step 1: To access the Acer Projector’s safe mode, you should hold down the Ctrl and F1 keys at the same time while booting your laptop. Then, you should select the safe mode option from the list of booting options to access a black and white screen.
Once you have the correct Acer XD1150 drivers, you may reboot your system without any issue. You may also try to use the Acer XD1150 drivers that you have already downloaded to see if you can solve the input not supported issue.
Check if the input not supported error still occurs after you boot into safe mode with networking. In that case, you will need to install an updated driver for your Acer Projector. To update drivers on Windows 10, go to Settings and then to “Update and security” as shown in the below screenshot.
